Coming Soon - Avatar's Incident Management Module
Avatar’s Incident Management module is a new, centralized platform to capture, manage, resolve, and report on vehicle incidents.
It provides a centralized system for all incident-related data, automates key workflow steps, integrates with essential systems like Samsara, and offers robust reporting capabilities.
By logging post-incident coaching and assigning corrective training, you can prove you took action and close the loop on safety.
This feature replaces inefficient, manual processes and fragmented data sources (like spreadsheets and network drives), enabling users to manage incidents more effectively, ensure compliance, and gain clear visibility into their incident landscape.
The 3 unique benefits of Incident Management are:
-
Fast/Mobile Triage: Control your costs by diagnosing the situation faster, taking immediate action, and submitting claims promptly.
-
Process Management: Capture every video, picture, and task—every time. Prioritize your focus on the highest-risk incidents and prove that you took action by logging your one-on-one coaching and assigned courses.
-
Risk Management: See trends of recurring issues so you can prevent them from happening again.
Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a high-level, at-a-glance overview of all incident-related activities and key metrics. It's designed to help you quickly assess the current situation and identify areas that require immediate attention. Each widget on the dashboard is clickable, leading to a filtered view of the corresponding incidents.
Key Functionality:
-
At-a-Glance Widgets: Displays key statistics such as the total number of incidents, incidents by type, and open tasks.
-
Click-Through to Filtered Views: Clicking on a widget takes you directly to the Incident Browser screen, pre-filtered with the relevant data.
-
Email Notifications: Configure and receive email summaries, including weekly digests, new incident alerts, and task assignments, to stay informed without having to be logged into the system.
Browser
The Incident Browser is the main screen for viewing and managing a list of all incidents. It allows for powerful searching, sorting, and filtering so you can quickly locate specific incidents or analyze trends.
Key Functionality:
-
Comprehensive Incident List: View all incidents with key details such as Incident Date, Driver, Vehicle, Type, and Status.
-
Quick Views: Access pre-filtered lists for specific purposes, such as "DOT Reportable" or "Insurance Reportable," to streamline compliance and reporting.
-
Custom Saved Views: Create and save your own filtered views for quick access to the information you need most often.
-
Export to CSV: Easily export filtered lists, like the DOT Accident Register, for external reporting and record-keeping.
Detail View
The Incident Detail screen is the central hub for all information related to a single incident. From this page, you can view the initial report, manage documents, track tasks, and log updates, ensuring a complete and chronological record.
-
Key Functionality:
-
Incident Summary: Displays a view of all the core details captured when the incident was created.
-
Document and Media Management: Upload, preview, rename, and delete related files such as photos, police reports, and videos in a dedicated "Media" tab.
-
File Sharing: Securely share one or more files with external parties like insurance adjusters via a shareable link, avoiding email size limitations.
-
Task Management: Create, assign, and track the status of tasks specific to the incident, such as "Schedule driver retraining" or "Obtain repair quote."
-
Notes Log: Add timestamped notes to maintain a running log of all communications and updates related to the incident.
-
Status Updates: Change the overall status of the incident (e.g., Open , Closed) to reflect its current stage in the lifecycle.
