Record Create Dates

Records in DriverHub have a Document Date and a Record Digitization Date.

Here's what that means:

Document Date - this is the date that the record, report, item was issued or obtained. We break this down specifically for some record types:

  • Driver's License - Document Date is called the Issue Date
  • MVR - Document Date is Called Report Date
  • Med Card - Date Certificate Signed
  • All others, you'll see  “Document Date”

Digitization Date - this is the date that the record, report, item was created inside of DriverHub. For example, If you upload a record you previously collected from a driver 5 years ago, the Document Digitization Date is the date you uploaded the document (today) and the Document Date is the date the item was generated (5 years ago).

  • Note - This was formerly called the "Create Date" in DriverHub.
