Creating a Progress Report
-
Navigate to the Report Builder
From your Dashboard, click on Reports. Select Create Report and choose Progress Report. This is the most common report used to track individual course enrollments, user groups, and overall completion status. -
Customize Your Layout
By default, the report includes the most commonly needed data points. However, you can customize the columns by dragging items from the "Available Data" list into your current report view. You can add, remove, or rearrange these fields to ensure the report shows exactly what you need. -
Apply Filters
Click the Filters tab. If you leave this blank, the report will pull every piece of data in the portal. To narrow your results, apply specific filters:-
Courses & Users: Select from the list or search for specific ones.
-
Groups: Filter by specific team or department.
-
Status: select specific criteria like "Passed," "Failed," "Overdue," or "Not Started."
-
Dates: Filter by enrollment or completion periods.
-
-
Generate Results
Once your filters are set, click Create Report. You will see a summary at the top (total users, passed, failed) and a detailed list of individual enrollments below.
Saving and Scheduling Reports
-
Export or Edit Data
From the results page, you can click Export to download the data immediately as a CSV file for use in Excel. If you need to adjust your criteria, click Edit to return to the filter screen. -
Save for Future Use
Click Save Report and give it a recognizable name (e.g., "Monthly Safety Training"). Saving a report unlocks two powerful features:-
Quick Re-runs
You can run this exact report anytime from the main Reports page without resetting the filters. -
Scheduling: You can set the report to run automatically on a schedule and email the results to you.
-
Learning Path Reports
-
Generate a Learning Path Report
If you need data specifically on a curated series of courses, go to Create Report and select Learning Path Report. -
Select Path and View
Select the specific Learning Path you want to analyze. This report will show you who is enrolled in the path, the type of path, and their status.
Use this report when you need to see the "big picture" of a Learning Path. If you just need to see if a user finished a specific course within a path, the standard Progress Report will work fine.
