Most companies think onboarding is filling out paperwork and learning about your job.
There's a lot to cram into a few-day period, and this causes orientation to turn into a scramble to get someone out on the road. Instead, orientation needs to be a warm embrace that makes drivers feel as though they made the right choice.
Do your drivers (and yourself) a favor by having drivers fill out all pre-hire forms before they meet you in person at orientation.
