Creating a Link to a Task in a Workflow in DriverHub

Think a candidate has become application-fatigued? Send the candidate direct link to a task to drum up engagement.

If a candidate appears to have paused during the application process, you can send them a direct link to a specific task to help re-engage them and encourage them to complete their application workflow.

For example, if a candidate has stopped at the PSP Consent step, you can send them a link that takes them directly to that task.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the candidate’s profile.

  2. Go to the Applications tab and locate the task where the candidate stopped (for example, PSP Consent).

  3. Right-click anywhere on the task and then select Create Link to Task...

  4. In the window that opens, choose how you want to share the task link. Your options are:

    1. Copy the generated link and paste it manually into an email or message.

    2. Send the link via Email directly from DriverHub. This will open up an email with a pre-loaded message (see below) that you can edit before sending or send as-is.

    3. Send the link via SMS. This will open up a pre-loaded text message (see below) that you can edit before sending or send as-is.

Please note: You will also see an option for Create a To-Do that includes the task link. To-dos are internal to the system, so only use this option if you are reminding a recruiter or manager of a form they need to sign.

  5. Once the task link is sent, the candidate can use it to go directly to the specified task and continue through the remainder of the workflow.
