How to terminate a team member from within their user profile, re-assign duties and disable log-ins.

To terminate a team member, navigate to the user profile. Under the Actions menu lies the Terminate Team Member option.
Next, set the Termination Status to Term Eligible, or Term Ineligible. Then, set the Termination Date.
Finally, open their profile and set the Life Cycle Stage of the Terminated employee. Best practice is to set the Lifecycle Stage to "Disqualified"
II. Re-Assigning an Termed Admin Team Member's Duties
Finally if the user you are terminating is a manager, you will re-assign all responsibilities that the outgoing employee had to another manager. These include:
- Manager Responsibilities:
- Employees managed
- Locations managed
- Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Applications that they were responsible for
- Positions
- Position Openings
- Referral Sources
- Hyperlinks
Once you have completed these tasks, click "Terminate Employee". You will be asked to confirm the termination; click yes if you want to proceed.
If you are terminating an admin user, it is a best practice to also disable that person's log in so that he / she is no longer able to access A-Suite.

Follow the path below after you term the admin team member so that he/she can no longer access A-Suite. Actions> Enable/Disable Log In
To terminate an employee, you must first have the permission action.personas.terminate_employee enabled. This can be accomplished by navigating to Configuration, Permissions, and clicking Rights. In the "Name" search filter box, you can type "terminate", and the permission should show up in the window below.
IV. How to Access A Termed Team Members Profile
You can use the search bar to locate a termed team member, or you can follow the path below from the Navigation tool bar:
Browse>Team Members
Select the "Terminated" filter.
Next, you can filter by "Status" to include those termed team members in your search.
A termed team member's profile will show a Term Status, similar to the one shown below.
V. Rehiring a Termed Team Member
You always have the option to re-hire a termed team member. You can send the termed team member an application by going to Create>Application Workflow. This will open a new workflow for this candidate.
Then, select the Opening, Recruiter, and Referral Source.
